How to disable Startup Repair?

Thread Starter
Recent build and Ive been overclocking my i7 920. Sometimes windows fails to boot and then im forced to enter the "Startup Repair" utility. This would be bypassed easily enough by selecting Start Windows Normally but in this screen my USB keyboard (microsoft sidewinder) doesn't work.

So, does anyone know how to disable Startup Repair?

Or if not does anyone have any tips on getting my keyboard to operate in this screen so I can move the highlighted text to Start Windows Normally?

Thanks a lot for any help you have to offer.

Windows 7 64bit

Sounds like you need to enable USB keyboard support in your system's BIOS. You may need a PS2 keyboard to get into it. Borrow one from a friend or go to your local pawn shop and buy one for like $2.

Thanks for your reply, i did that already but didnt do it in all my BIOS saved profiles. Like a moron i was using a different profile and didn't think to check if it was enabled or not! doh! I just assumed it was bugging out. God i wish all problems were so easy to resolve.

I will remember next time, the simplest answer should be the first to trial.
