Sata Power Cable

I recently sleeved a sata power cable just as a test and they have 3 of the connectors across the wire. Would I be safe in removing one of these connections and sleeving over it to leave 2? I don't use the 3rd one.

Yes.... if the unneeded SATA adapter is at the end of the cable, just cut it out right after the next connector.

if the unneeded SATA adapter is NOT at the end of the cable, you will remove the plug and need to seal off the exposed wire.
