Good motherboard for S478 Celeron D

Thread Starter
Ok, this is the story, I have a HP that I use as my "Internet" PC, as in I use this PC for the internet and my rig in my siggy as my gaming rig(no Internet).

After getting a DVD Burner, and relizing that encoding needs ALOT of power, I am going to opt for a motherboard upgrade for the HP to allow some OC.

Current specs:

Hp Pavilon A612X
Celeron D325 2.5Ghz Socket 478
512MB PC3200 (generic)
Intigrated 82845G 64MB
120GB Westren Digital
Hp case and 250W PS
Pioneer DRV110 + Liteon DVd-ROM/CD-RW

I want a good motherboard that will allow me to OC to over 3Ghz, and needs to support Celeon D, Micro ATX, and the HP already has exellent CPU cooler.

My Budget is 50$.

Thanks, NOS---

Here is a list of MicroATX boards, I couldn't tell you which one to get since I have never used one. What I would suggest is maybe spending a little bit more for a good name brand board. Also, with a 250w stock HP power supply it is going to be hard to oc that celeron.

Sorry that i am replying so late.....

Well I think I am going to go with the asus Motherboard, Purely for the fact it is an ASUS, but I don't think that is a good chipset.... :/

So what would YOU guys buy?

PS: Best Buy has a deal on 120Gb WD's for 60$, and i will pick up an Antec PS there too...
