• Close client.
• Delete 'work' folder and queue.dat file.
• Add -smp flag again, in case you did it wrong first time around.
• Restart client.

Few questions (sorry I'm not ready 95 pages of stuff).
- Is HFM.Net even necessary? If its just there for monitoring can we ditch it?
- I'm starting off with the SMP stuff but I think my system (980x) is capable of doing the advanced stuff. How long should I wait until I try to do bigger stuff?

Thanks,
No, HFM is not necessary, but it would be very much advised to use it. Since it displays bonus points, if you're on course to miss the deadline, you won't know without HFM... you won't know if something is wrong or not just by looking at the client.

And you should do -bigadv WUs after completing 10 SMP WUs.

Well, where there is no shortage of -bigadv WU, that doesn't seem to matter to much... but I will put a note in anyway.

I'm wondering about optimization.
Is there a listing somewhere that shows what the average time is on each WU?

A P6062 took something like 4-5 hours total, is that normal? Is it so slow I ought to look at it like there is a problem? Perfectly normal? Above average?

No for a list of average times... there is one for average PPD though:

I have a couple of questions about moving files. When I first downloaded the program I put it on my desktop; during the installation progress it placed all of the files there as well. I followed through with the rest of the instructions while the files were still in my desktop. I want to place the files in another folder so it's not as messy.

1) Are these all of the pertinent files:

work folder
unitinfo
FahCore_a3
client
MyFolding
queue.dat
FAHlog

2) Is there anything I need to change besides the target location of the shortcut?

As a side question, the default x86 program isn't needed right? Meaning I can uninstall it if I'm using the SMP one?

Thanks.

My opinion? Copy the .exe file and client.cfg to the new Folder, and make a new shortcut. All other files will be made automatically, but you;ll need to start a new WU.

I dont have a C:/Users/[me]/Folding folder did I do something wrong?

Did you install the client a few months ago?

If you tried using this guide recently, then you make the folder yourself, and extract the .exe to that Folder.
