Everything that falls within the 192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255 category is called a private networking ip. It is not used for the Internet. Check here for more details
So both 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.100 are private networking ips. They cannot be your static (real) ip.
I'd say 192.168.1.1 is the gateway ip (the machine you connect to on your lan/man/wan to get access to the Internet) and 192.168.1.100 is your own ip on that lan/man/wan.
To check your real ip (the ip people on the Internet should see) go to www.grc.com and click on "Shields Up" then scroll down until you see this:

The Internet's quickest, most popular, reliable and trusted, free Internet security checkup and information service. And now in its Port Authority Edition, it's also the most powerful and complete. Check your system here, and begin learning about using the Internet safely.
And click on "Shields Up!" again to find out what your real ip is.

www.whatismyip.com will show your static IP address. (External)

The ones above are your local network internal address, the router translates from your internal IP address ''192.168.1.100'' to your external IP address ''The one ''WhatismyIP displays''. 192.168.1.100 is the IP address of your router on the internet, regardless of your IP address on your local network. 192.168.1.1 will be your routers default gateway.
