Just when you thought you had seen it all in terms of CPU cooling, someone breaks the mold and builds something totally new. Enter the Scythe Susano, and start praying your case and components can fit it.

How is it new?

We've seen otehr Scythe and Thermalright massive HSF before... and they don't perform that great. Dimisinish returns!

You're talking about the concept, which indeed is not new. But the product itself really is new, and who knows, maybe it won't be that bad. Since oversized coolers have failed before, as you said, then clearly they don't want to waste their time or money. So let's wait until we see some benchmarks.

If u look at other pictures u can see the mass of copper is realy close to that of aluminum, i.e. the density of the fins(AL) r not much > heatpipes(CU). Dont think will work even with 4 fans....unless DELTAzzz

When the "small" Big Shuriken can take care of a i7940 @3.07 OCCT 100%/67degC this will do more just "sleeping".
Honestly where lies the limits of the air cooled heatpipe design?

Reflections!! ??

One fourth of the Susano.
