Suitable upgrade from SB Audigy Platinum

Thread Starter
Yes, my old faithful. By far the oldest component in my rig. Got this card 2nd hand from a friend for free, and been running strong for me for the past 4 years. But I think it's time to move on. I'm not much of an audiophile as much as I'd like something that's a suitable upgrade from this card. I don't have a speaker setup. My current audio out is a pair of Plantronics GAMECOM777's. I think they're good, though some will disagree.

What do you guys think would be a good upgrade? I'm not looking to spend a lot of money, preferably under $100 or so. Help me out!

I'd vote for Auzentech X-Fi Prelude/Forte and you can grab them for under $100 (refurb.) from Auzentech right here.

Best bang for your buck right there, both awesome cards.
