Welp I am by no means an expert but since no one else answered I will give it a shot.
Make sure the mobo/memory/cpu are compatable, right amount of pins for processor (939) memory is DDR, and with the graphics slot you want. I would also check out some reviews from various (credable) sites.

Its great RAM and can overclock very high, for a reasonable price. With the 3500+ your looking at a x11 multi. This means most will cap out around 250ish fsb. (2750mhz) So if you decide on a mobo that allows high voltage memory I would get some BH5 that allows you to get tight timings to 250ish mhz.
