is it just me, or is no one using the rar'd up direct launch clients no more ?

i unpack my rar file, have 4 gpu clients, launch them 1 time with configonly flag, then keep them running as i go. once i got all them setup , i pack them in a new rar file and can use them on any rig i want

First page of guide, second post saving the HFM Configuration. He says save to install location (keep it outa the way) what does he mean. I setup my 480 and everything but where do I save configuration? Also I don't need to set all the rest because I don't want it to start on startup.. right? I can just start em when i want

The config file that you save is just so HFM loads the client locations when it starts up; without it, you would need to set it up every time.

Is that what you're asking?

I'm asking where should I save the config file, or does it matter. by default it went to documents in my user folder. so I just saved it there.. that work?

Add this flag "-forcegpu ati_r700" to your shortcut and it should work fine. Minus the quotation marks of course.

Yeah, check the "ATi Users" section in the guide; it's towards the end.

I followed your guide exactly, I got the HFM and GPU client running at the same time but I don't think anything is being recorded.
