Kepler doesn't work on this client. You'll need to use the new version:

Ok re-installed again and slots are back I try to add a gpu to slot with -1, 0, 1, 2 nothing works... it acts like its gonna do something but nothing ever shows up

You're in the wrong thread - this guide is for the v6 client, not v7 (which is what you're using). However, here's the answer anyway:

I just got my smp folding up in a linux vm a few days ago and I was looking to run a gpu client as well, I have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560. I followed the guide but after putting in the information and hitting okay, the program crashed. Whenever I try to run it it crashes.

What I am I doing wrong? Can I not fold on it?

Thanks in advance!

The GPU is not overclocked (yet).

Someone suggested that I use v7 and follow zodac's guide. When doing so the client sits at "inactive" and in the work unit log it says it is waiting on FahCore Update.
