newbie case fan question

I'm relatively new to all this so please bear with me...

On the advice of several people here, I have a Big Typhoon on the way. However, I now have this hodgepodge of case fans that I need to clean up. Specifically, I have one super-loud 80mm CompUSA intake fan -- I'm planning to return that since I'm hoping I won't need an intake once I get the BT. But I cut out my grill in the back trying to increase airflow (this is before I realized that replacing my stock cooler was a better solution), so I have to do something there so I don't have a big gaping hole. Right now, it has a 92mm CompUSA that is supposed to be thermally controlled, but it never revs over about 1400 (which is nice for noise but so nice for cooling) -- I'm planning to take it back as well.

Here's my question: the case seems to be set up for either a 80mm or 92mm fan (two sets of holes). But I want to make sure that whatever I put in is quiet (noise is a big issues for me in my location). Is there an adapter or something that would allow me to mount a larger (i.e., quieter) 120mm fan? Or are their decent 92mm fans that are fairly quiet? I'm doing all this mail order so I'm worried I'm going to get something that won't fit.

You still need an intake and an exhaust fan, otherwise your Big Typhoon will just be blowing hot air around in the case...

Good point -- but it looks like a pair of these 80mm fans will do the trick. At my current ones are around 25dbA, which is too loud. If these are as quiet as advertised (i.e., 13dBA), I should be golden.

Thanks!

Coolermaster fans are the quietest fans I've ever owned and still manage to move a respectable amount of air.

My Big Typhoon has finally arrived (and the fans are on their way, according to UPS).

However, I'm concerned about the case clearance -- after measuring my case I determined that while the cooler will fit, the top of the fan will be fairly close to the side panel when it's in place. I didn't see anything in the installation instructions about required side panel clearance -- any thoughts? I'm really hadn't planned to cut a hole in my side panel but I guess I can if I have to.
