I take it you flashed your card with the 5770 bios? I did the same thing and it caused my card to never come out of the power saving mode. No matter what I did it would only go to 600/1200 when I was gaming. Open something like GPUZ or Afterburner so you can see your current clock speed and then run furmark in a window and see if it actually goes up to it's full speed. I'll bet anything that's what the problem is. Your system should kick ass and I don't see the ram making that much of a difference. I had to flash my card back to a 5750 bios to get it to work properly, but you can use RBE to edit the bios and achieve the same thing the 5770 bios gave you.

I guess thats the least you can try, try re-installing the drivers and see if the problem's still there.

Thanks dude, you're a legend Clocks where running 400/1200. I will try to change it with RadeonBiosEditor. Rep+ for you.

Cool, glad you figured it out. It makes me wonder how many people are running their cards like that and just think the 5750 is a piece of crap. Let me know if you need any help with RBE, I've spent a lot of time screwing with my bios.

I didn't think of my 5750 like crap, others might think different, but this card is damn nice. Yeah, a little bit help would be nice.

Try using MSI afterburner 1.5.2? Set the clocks to 830/1250MHz, exit afterburner and start it up again, you should be able to set the clocks higher than normal.
