HD 5750 Club - Page 70

I think it's not worth bothering with pencil mod for 700 points in Vantage...
Its quite worth it for me if it can hit 10800+.

But my 5750 is already idling at around 44C @157/300, so its kinda reaching its limit.

I was less than 8000 in Vantage GPU score before I did the pencil mod and got almost 10k, so I'd say it's worth it. Think of it as getting a free upgrade from a 4850 to a 4890. A little more heat and power consumption, but not so much as to worry about.

I have GPU score ~7900 points 5750 default, and ~9900 points @ 930/1240 that's max. OC for Vantage....

That's without voltage change... So when I look at Davidsen scores with pencil mod I would not do that if I already can have 9900 points without it....
I got 10036 w/o pencil mod @955/1300 in Vantage, with pencil mod 10751 points @1070/1325, so i'd say its worth doing the pencil mod, as long as you don't shade too much, once shaded too much and it started idling at 50C @157/300.
