Memory underclocking.

I have a K8N-E Deluxe with two sticks of ULTRA 512Mb PC3200. but my board underclocks it to 333MHz could it be this (see attachment). My CPU runs on a 10x multiplier and my RAM is being divided by a 12x?

What does your bios say under the ram divider area?
It will be in a ratio format.

Don't know much about your processor, could the ram controller on it not support more then 1 stick at full 400ddr speed?

Does it run at 400mhz with one stick in?

That processor can handle two sticks of ram at ddr400. Look in your bios for a divider or ram speed setting. It should looks something like 'ram=400mhz,360mhz,200mhz, 166mhz). Many motherboards automatically adjust the divider if you change your ram and/or change your cpu or fsb settings (try to overclock).

Be sure ALL the cpu/memory clock adjustments in the bios are set to manual.

could it just be that the profile is not set to overclocking?

I tried putting my mem's clock speed higher then my cpu's but it took a while to figure out i had the profile at optimal and not agressive.
