Well, In my opinion I would wait for a ps3. Between those two I would choose the sli setup

360; improvement from SLI isn't worth an independent system. The main improvement you would see is in games like F.E.A.R. on high settings; or when running 3DMARK05/06; Basically, you aren't going to see THAT much improvement; so the XBOX360 would be a better choice in my opinion. That is, considering, that you will play it alot.

I've actually thought of it too...but my reasoning is I dont seem to play much console stuff anymore and I'm mainly on the computer...Hell I bought a PS2 over the summer and once school started I rarely played it, its really collecing dust.

I would evaluate it as...how much time is spent on the computer, if you want SLI get another card, if you spend a decent amount of time playing console stuff get a 360...I would suggest using the $300-$350 on a Water Cooling setup and case, get the temps down to OC more

My Roomate got one and hardly plays it...i think it was a waste of $350 if you ask me

I didn't take it as a matter of whether getting another GT would make his computer better than the consoles; I judged it based on how much of a performance increase he would receive in comparison to a brand new system that he would be spending time playing games on that aren't necessarily out on all other systems.

It depends on what you play most. If you play alot of console games then go with the 360. But if you like PC gaming the best then get the extra GT.
Very nice!

well you have to realize..that if you get a 360 (i have one) you have to consider getting games , controllers, play and charge thing, and all the other crap... comes out to a lot (ive spend about 800 or so and i only have 2 games =P) and next you have to think with the 7800's in sli, you'll be ready for next-next gen games....on high =] - if oyur gonna play the 360 a lot then might as well sell you rig... if you not then...the 7800 =].. tried to make it easy -trey

Yes, I agree; but if you have enoguh money to buy a 360, I'd wait for the G71 to come out, and get one of those instead of 7800GTs for SLI.
