Hi I'm new and need some help overclocking an Asrock motherboard

Thread Starter
I have read the overclocking guide, I cannot find any options in my bios that lets me edit FSB. Is it called something else in the bios? what should I be editing? I have a asrock motherboard. They said that my mother board allows me to overclock my cpu. Should I be changing the CPU frequency? It is at 133 now.

How far should I be overclocking my P4 Celeron D330 2.66 Prescott using only stock cooling?

Thanks.

Yes, CPU frequency is what you need to change, especially if you are jsut beginning. Also, i'm sorry about your motherboard.

It's best to change the clock speed by 3-5 MHz at a time. Using small steps will allow you to make all of the necessary tweaks to keep your system stable. You'll want to make sure you keep the CPU load temperature below 65C.

If you haven't had a chance to read through them yet, check out the overclocking and RAM guides that are linked in my sig.
