Also it doesn't even show the OCNChimpin name or Team number on the right hand side.
Ok so your using the installer.

Also the server that your trying to connect to is busy. So change the Team number and username and restart the client. If you continue to not connect, you will need to reinstall the client.

EDIT:
NOTE - The installer has been having problems lately not being able to get work. So you may need to install Console client.

Yes, also you cant be running the installer version while running the console at the same time. It causes problems.

Important update to thread.

So far the best project yet

ALSO ITS A NEW PROJECT

Code:
      Project : 2669
 Core : SMP Gromacs CVS
 Frames : 100
 Credit : 1920

 -- iMac --

 Min. Time / Frame : 13mn 05s - 2113.22 ppd
 Avg. Time / Frame : 13mn 12s - 2094.55 ppd
 No Cur. Time / Frame
 No R3F. Time / Frame
 No Eff. Time / Frame

This guide is somewhat out dated because of the new macs that have come out. I will have to go on the hunt again to find the stats/averages.

For some reason I am only pulling 500ppd on my 2.93ghz C2D MacBook Pro 17" (as mentioned in the first post, a 2.5ghz C2D Macbook Pro 17" was getting 2.9k ppd, so mine should theoretically be at least that high or higher)...it's the aluminum unibody model from early '09....any thoughts as to why such a low ppd? I've checked everything I can think of...nothing else is using CPU and CPU usage is at 100% for fahcore...I'm just curious why it would be such a low ppd. Thoughts/suggestions welcome

EDIT: I am using the standard SMP client installer, NOT the console/terminal client, just for those who might ask that question, I'm answering it in advance

After talking with some the folders at Team OSX. There is something in the recent OS update for Mac that is causing some of the low PPD.

Have they been able to find out what exactly it is, how to fix it, or some way around it so that we get back to the PPD that we are supposed to be getting?
