I'm setting up a few FAH boxes in our server room here at the university and counting the credits towards OCN. On of them is even a sandy bridge machine, however, I'm having issues with both the standard and the V7 clients. The V7 client is quite buggy, and when it is working it's only doing 2.3k PPD which seems sad.
Any suggestions to pull more PPD?

I was given a new iMAC for free it has a intel 2400s I5 and i just got the client setup and its running but it just keeps saying "attempt to get work failed and no other work to do" Its been doing this for an hour or more now. Is something wrong or did i do something wrong which is very possible because i have never even seen a mac till today much less use one, so far i have had to stop myself from smashing it on the floor a few times 
If anyone could give me any tips or might know whats going on or whats wrong please let me know!!! Thanks in advance!!
