I wouldn't bother, someone who doesn't overclock wants to trade his chip for another that is slower. lol
Either he does overclock, and that chip is a terrible overclocker, or he's completely stupid. Either way, I would keep your 3700 and not risk a thing.

I completely disagree with this post. To say that the 4000 will overclock higher than the 3700 isn't true and there's no way to guarantee that. Also, to say that the 4000 wouldn't be as stressed?? Where'd you come up with that statement?

Well I just got a package today that contained the chip, tomorrow I'll throw it in before I send my 3700 out. It is a CABGE stepping but I did have a good reason to trade...if it works.
