Are Newer Games Going To support Dual Core?

Thread Starter
Are newer games coming out in the future going to support dual core processors? Are games that are already out r they gunna make patches for the ability to use dual cores? If they are then i will probably get a dual core for my next rig but uf they are not going to then i will probably just stick swith a single core.

Well.. games will support it but utlilizing it is a completely different matter at hand.

Thats up to the programmers to multithread games... but they are still be lazy about that...

i think regardless you should go for dual core... it will become the standard sooner or later and if games are already using it then that mean there is alot more to come, the dual core will be a good upgrade because it will be more future proof than a single core... so IMO go for the dually...
