Its not confusing at all, just don't look at chips priced at $1,500 and the 1567 socket chips no longer appear.

They are mounted on daughter boards, you can see the black slots to the left of each socket. With the daughter boards, you can mount, say, 8 or 16 RAM slots per CPU, without valiable motherboard space being taken up.
