here is the thing with opterons. at low voltage, you will hit a wall. For example, take my opteron. at Just 1.4V, it will do 2.8Ghz prime stable. NOW, if i want to goto 3ghz, i need to pump some major amount of vore to get it stable at 3, im talking more than 1.55V

So I'm gonna say that you are now limited by your vcore. There is no way that memory is limiting you when you're running it at 200mhz. and LDT is set to 3 (274x3 = 822)....

More Vcore is needed to get 3.0 stable

These numbers should work for 3.0. Make sure your vcore is maxed at 1.55v...here we go.

273 x 11
HTT x 3
Vcore 1.55
Memory timings 2.5-3-3-6 1T
Memory divider 200 (DDR400) 1:1 .......(no divider)
Memory voltage 2.7

This should do it, I know your memory is fine, and your cpu should be if you are at 2.9 with 1.5v. It should at least boot..

u know wat the pc crashed and i had cmos error i had to take out the battery For first time..... lol. Anyways now iam happy with these settings. As u see in the pic .. all i need is i want the max performance outta my ram, currently the timings r on defualt and the vdimm on auto.

1) is increasing Vdimm increases performance?
2) changing the defualt timings from 2-2-2-5 2t to 1-2-2-4 improve something?

Heres a pic of how stable am i at this setting.HONESTLY I DONT NEED 3.0GHZ FOR NOW UNTILL I GOT THE DFI SO I CAN USE MORE VCORE, BY THAT TIME ILL LET IT RUN NAKED.

yeah yeah...

Your running your ram timmings to tight, to get 3.0 or better try losening them up to 2.5 4 4 8 or 2.5 5 5 10 that should allow you to get your ram stable.

sorry maybe i didnt clear my last post, to get 3.0ghz i need at least 1.6vcore and my max vcore is 1.55v. On the other hand, ill wait about 6 months or less to get the new DFI MoBo. For now iam stable at that speeds i posted in my last post, please try to re-read it. thanks.
