When I say 1:1, that means whatever your FSB was (273) that is what your memory speed will be. Your memory can handle those timings, I dont think your processor can handle 3.0 with 1.55v stable though, sure you can boot. I need 1.6v for mine to be prime stable.
When I said divider of 200 (DDR400), this means 1:1 ratio or no divider. I hope you set it to DDR400 setting and not 200. It depends on the bios..

Yes i understand now, iam not a compeletly n00b. Anyways, yes i need more vcore than 1.55, now iam prime stable at 1.92 with 1.48vcorelol is there a way i can get more performance outta the ram ? If so, how?
yeah yeah...

sure, I would run these settings for 2.9ghz, your memory will be running at 264mhz....a huge increase..

264 x 11
HTT x 4 or 3, whichever boots, try 4 first
Vcore 1.5
Memory timings 2.5-3-3-5 1T
memory voltage 2.7
Memory divider 1:1 DDR400 (no divider)

To your question earlier, more vdimm doesn't mean more speed, it's just like your vcore, you only want to increase the voltage if you are unstable. 2.7 is plenty enough for that memory at the speed I just listed. TCCD doesn't like high voltage anyways.

okay currently iam stable at

265fsb
Timings 2-2-2-5 <<defualt.
Vcore 1.48 ( less heat and i gotta wait till i get the DFI then ill increase it to 1.6 to hit 3ghz)
Vdimm ( auto )
Memory max clock " 333mhz "
HTT x3 ( i used htt x3 for a two reasons 1st, is i wont go over 1000 with 265fsb , 2nd i benched marked with both x3 and x4 and i scored more with x3 with the above settings.)

hey, I just saw this thread. I have that RAM and you should be good to go at a 1:1 ratio!

use ncsa's guide to find the max frequency of your RAM (basically you just underclock your cpu and your htt (2 0r 3x multi) and increase your htt by a few Mhz at a time and run memtest each time) when you hit a wall increase voltage and/or loosen timings.

my RAM will do DDR640 at 2.5-4-4-8. so yours shouldn't have a problem hitting DDR600.

one thing to look into... my Asus board didn't like running a 1T command rate over a htt of 240... you might want to try a 2T command rate to get your RAM stable.

but your RAM should do DDR500 at 2.5-3-3-7 and somewhere around DDR550 you'll need to set it at 2.5-4-4-8

DDR640 refers to a memory speed. the DDR stands for Double Data Rate... or 2x the htt(fsb) speed. dual channel effectivly doubles the frequency DDR RAM is running at. so DDR400 actually runs at 200Mhz, but the effective frequency is 400Mhz. So DDR640 means that the RAM is running at a 1:1 ration w/ the mobo htt frequency of 320Mhz.
