Not off hand, no, but the moment I say "always" or "never" it always comes back to bite me in the butt.

Thanks for your replies guys.

I feel confident now to order some PC4000. I can get 4GHz with my CPU, but have to use a divider as my current RAM can't get passed DDR480 and I need DDR534, which I'm sure would be easily attainable with PC4000 (DDR500) RAM. After all, although an o/c of about 7% on the RAM isn't guaranteed, I think the odds are good enough to make the purchase worthwhile.

Here is the RAM I plan to get.

Thanks for your help all!

Highly-Annoyed

For a bit of side info, because of a relative deadspot in my case my Gold overheats and starts causing random reboots when I was running 2.5-3-3-5. I didn't realize what was happeneing until I touched my ram and it was actually HOT not just warm. I've since jury rigged a fan to blow right on it and not had the same problem again except when pushing it to the very edge (2-3-3-5 @ 259) doing SuperPi 1M runs.

Keep that in mind if you have dead spots.

Good choice, nice RAM

It will do 2.5-3-3-7 at 250MHz and 2.9V for me, the most I've had is 3-3-3-7 at 285MHz and still 2.9V.
