Talking Stealth like FISHER

Thread Starter
Hi ive been useing a P4 retail air fan for like 3 years now and didnt really have a need to change before as i never overclocked or even contemplated it.
Things change and im beginning to understand 0clocking,
so basicly im after a

ULTRA UBER SUPER FISHER -COOLING FAN-
cooling fan, than is better than the retail in temp cooling. To be honest guys cooling isnt the issue its volume, i want virtually no noise from it.

Any recomendations and all input will be much appreciated

im from the UK and want to spend like $50 max

You'll notice in about 5 minutes that you'll be bombarded by the same thing.

Allow me to say it first, get the Thermaltake Big Typhoon (BT) if it fits.

Big Typhoon. Artic Silver 5. That's the best you can go. Thing is, be careful for a permanent buy, as you can't remove the Typhoon from the Motherboard!

But it's a whippity whoopin good product.

This is a lie. People do it all the time. Ask around.

LOL um ya you can remove the BT after you install it, unless you use some thermal epoxy.... which is crap

I know you can remove the Big Typhoon, but what about the 3M Sticker thingy that comes with it?

I had to remove it 5 min after I placed it to put a material I forgot, and it was hard like hell... :/

Yeah, the backplate, once hard, will never come off again, so be careful! I almost ended up scrapping a mobo because it almost hardened while it was mounted in such a way so that it was blocking the screw holes! lol! Both my old MSI board and pandapimp's old DFI board have our backplates stuck to them, I am using my new Asus without any backplate and we aren't sure what to do about panda's compy since his mobo is still dead and he hasn't gotten a replacement yet.

Alls you has to doos is take a hairdryer, set it on med-low, blow it on the backplate for 60 seconds, and GENTLY twist it off.
Same goes for thermal epoxy, it comes off a lot easier than you think with the correct tools.
