I see what you are getting at, but I have been all over this overclock forum and others, your post is the first I have ever seen anything about an Asus x58 board dropping back if the core temps get to 74C or over. Even all the overclock guides that use the P6T series say nothing about it.

Plus you are talking about if you have turbo enabled, but the quote that you pasted into your orginal post did not say that when you exceed 74C in turbo you would drop back, it just said if you exceeded 74C you would drop back.

Here is a shot of my P6T7 and a little of the chaos I call a room. Maybe able to get it running this weekend if I can get caught up on the yard work, starting to get the itch.

What do people think about the P6T SE? Looks pretty sweet for a $200 X58 board! Am I losing anything major by going the cheaper route?

Interesting, but like I have said before, it is all related to turbo mode and your original comment that you posted from extremesystems

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=223550

does not say anthing about turbo, all I was commenting on was what you posted, not what you said two pages back and I have already said I was not commenting on what you said two pages back so why do you keep saying I am two pages off? My original comment had nothing to do with what you said two pages ago only what you posted from xtremesystems.

Also while it seems some people have a problem is sure does not seem like hardly any do and one post said flash your bios and that would fix it so to me this is not a problem anymore since a solution has been found.

Anyone in this thread see a problem with their P6T's dropping back when get to 74C and above? If you do are you in turbo or do you have turbo disabled?
