Got a question for everyone. I've got a H50 that I'd like to use on my sig rig, but my board came with a mosfet blower that's suppose to be used with a liquid cooling setup. The problem is, it won't fit with the radiator installed at the back of the case.

Is it really necessary?

My P6T has been bluescreening for no apparent reason.

Bought used off a respected OCN member. I overclocked it to the same settings he used for ever and ever (as a folding machine, among other uses). So, presumably a rock-solid OC. Then it would BSOD every now and then, so I backed off the settings a bit. Still did it every now and again, and I've worked my way back to stock. Now it's still BSOD'ing every now and again. BSOD is preceded by 1) music skipping (on onboard sound), then 2) gameplay skipping then 3) after ~5 minutes of choppy gameplay, BSOD.

The code is 101, but I can't find what that means. Still, it seems to be completely independent of OC or anything. Any ideas?

For a i7 9XX 101 is increase Vcore. If you are using a different CPU than the original owner then his settings are not necessarily going to work for you.

If you had a different MB did you do a clean install of Windows when you installed the P6T? Did you update all your drivers, chipset drivers, etc.?

Bought the CPU and motherboard off the guy, he had been running it in the exact same configuration, folding heavily.

I am pretty certain that my particular issue is not with vcore, as the first OC I ran was 4.0 ghz@ 1.3xx vcore, then after it started BSODing I reduced the OC to 3.4 and the same voltage, and had the same occurrence of BSODs.

I reformatted my and installed windows on my SSD, kept my older raid0 storage array.
I was having some issues running my sound card (wasn't recognizing there was something in the slot), so I just ran the onboard with the drivers windows came with. I'm going to remove the sound card and put on the drivers that came on the disc.

Alright, just had another BSOD today, same symptoms (sound issues, etc) before the BSOD happened. Any ideas?

Hi, found this forum a couple of days ago and glad to have found it. First post. thumb.gif

I might be able to help ^ ...

I have P6T with i7 920 and have been getting the BSoD continually for past week until HDD failed after last one. Being a noob, I tried everything until i realised it was a hardware issue, and to cut long story short, all I needed to do was re seat the RAM! I was getting all sorts of error codes.

You probably tried it already, but it was so simple I didn't even think to check that first! wish I did! Hope it helps.

Now, I'm going to try my hand at a small OC over next couple of days and fingers crossed it all goes well. Want the most out of Skyrim I can squeeze from this gem of a mobo and chip. biggrin.gif

Has anybody tried crossflashing P6T/P6T SE with P6T WS Professional BIOS? I am experiencing turbo multiplier throttling from x20 to x19 with my E5649 during Prime95 small FFT stress on my P6T SE (x20 x 200 BCLK, my temps and voltage are pretty low - 1.272 CPU voltage according to CPU-Z during load, hottest core around 62-63*C after 10 min of Prime95 according to RealTemp) I think I have read somewhere that it is possible to crossflash P6t Deluxe (dont remember if v1 or v2) with P6T WS Professional BIOS (which allows you to disable this annoying function) Can somebody confirm if it is possible/not possible on P6t/P6T SE boards? (or maybe there is another way of getting rid of throttling..)
