Thread Starter
Hey guys im really new 2 the whole computer scene. Ive had my rig for a year now and starting to get confident at pokeing around and playing with settings and such .I just finished installing a aquagate mini r80 thinking it was a fairly decent way to cool my processor .And had seen in a magazine that with that cooler but in r120 oc there p4 to 4Ghz. Every time i try to oc my machine to 3 ghz i get a message oc failed when i bring it down to 2.50 MHz i get a message asking me to insert a bootable disc and hit any key .Was really hopeing for more than 2.2Ghz

You could always get an Intel

Seriously though... Check your RAM timings. Have you looked through the FAQs that are relevent to your set up? If not that's a good place to start.

try 2.5ghz to start with...should be easy....you need to understand YOUR bios and what settings need to be changed...these numbers will get you to 2.5

250 x 10
HTT x 4
Vcore 1.5-1.55
Memory timings default
memory voltage 2.7-2.8
Memory divider (max memclock) 166 (333)
