that came in handy when I was trouble shooting my 3rd card, it turned out to be a faulty one, got a new one and forgot to switch the 3rd pcie switch back on , everything is good now. These little touches make the R3E so, so special imo

Who is using 1102 BIOS?

I just started having some weird issues the other day, Windows reinstall made things worse, and now I'm thinking of going to this new BIOS.

How can I write 1102 to just one of the BIOS chips and keep 1005 on the other?

What would be the best 6gb RAM for this mobo coupled with an i7 950 (planning to OC to at least 4ghz)? And which one of the Dominator GT series? This for gaming performance.

I hear the g.skill redlines are great for that combo, but I guess you can't go wrong with the corsairs either, though they tend to be more expensive.

My ram is supposed to be at 2000MHZ but its only showing 1333 in bios. What do I need to do?

gotta over clock em, check your specs on the box or user's manual/card for your ram, it will tell you what to input in your bios to get them up and running at that speed. Almost all ram manufacturers do that now a days

I need to adjust my RAM timings and freq. How do I get into bios without restsrting and hitting tab? my boot is on an ssd so it goes by too fast (never thought i would complain about that). so yeah....how do I access this to make my adjustments?

Man I smell a flaming inbound.

thanks.

I have this set in my rig, but it has been discontinued.

Their new sets don't have the tight timings like the old ones had.

For 6gb you can either go with 1866 or 2000.

Nvm, I got it. Just had to be fast on the DEL key with a reboot.
