Exactly what problems do you have?

Did you download and install the latest 1.0.0.1036 drivers off the Asus site?
Did you set your BIOS to boot off the SSD?
Did you set the Marvell port in BIOS to AHCI?

I saw your other thread, if you do not know how to set the Marvell controller to AHCI go look at pages 3-26 and 3-27 in the manual that came with your mother board.

Hi, I just switched to a Rampage 3 Extreme, and I'm having problems overclocking. On my old Gigabyte EX58-UD5, I hit 4.5ghz rock solid stable at 1.475 volts. Now at the same voltage, I can only get to 4.2 ghz. The strange thing is, anything higher than that, and the system refuses to post. Its not even like it gets to windows and bluescreens. It just refuses to post. Is there some jumper or bios setting I should fix? Because it seems like this is some sort of artificial ceiling. I can run at 4.2 ghz at 1.4 volts, but even if I up the voltage to 1.475, I cant get to 4.3 any help would be appreciated.

I keep hearing that the top slot is the "master" card...dunno if that's significant or not.

Well, I did this because of my WC setup as well...and the setup is buggy as heck. Dunno if thats because of the 8/8/16 configuration or if its just 11.1.

I think I'm going to have to try 1 3 4 (16 8 8 ) The performance bugs I am experiencing is driving me nuts.

Do you think if I switch over to what the manual recommends, 1 3 4, will it fix all the driver and performance issues I have been experiencing?

F1 2010 runs better when I switch to 2 GPU. Microstutters like crazy when I use 3 GPUs with about a 15% drop in fps.

Same goes for Dirt 2...microstuttering with 3 GPUs...with about a 20% drop in fps.

Does anyone have definitive results one way 1,2,3 or the other 1,3,4?

I just got my R3E today I'm waiting on the rest of my parts to get here to setup but what I want to know is:
I'm going to be using a RAID 0 and was wondering which controller I should use Intel or Marvell?
Both drives are WD 640GB Caviar Black so it's not like I'm using SSDs but I'm pretty sure one of them will work better.....
Suggestions?

I need some help with the pci-e card set up....

If you run 1 3 4 = 16 X 8 X 8 and put somthing in the #2, ie sound card / tv tuner does that make them go all to 8 X ?

What if you run 2 in sli and 1 folding / physX card. Should the 2 in sli be 8 X 8 and oddball in 16 or doesn't it matter ?

How can you tell what they are running ? ( found it )

I found in gpu-z 1st tab .. the bus interface..

1st slot says X 16 v2.0
3rd says X 8 v2.0
4th says X 8 v1.1

Thanks..
