oooo ok I see. I thought the whole long heatsink had to come off! Ok...now to find the 2 screws : /

Thanks for the info!

one quick question which I seems not getting an answer googling.

Does this board supports Dolby Digital Live! 5.1 via TOSLINK?
It's a ALC889 but doesn't say if it's the one supports it or not.

Just curious, I'm putting together my parts list for a new computer. I know I should wait for SB, but I need it now and think my anticipated system will be fine for my intended purpose for quite some time. I also know that the 800d blows for air cooling (no pun intended), but I will be going liquid in the not too distant future and really like the corsair. Also, most of these parts are readily available at the local Fry's. My question is will the Noctua and Dominator fit? Will I have to rotate the Noctua to make it fit? Any help would be much appreciated! Also, if you have any insight as to changes that I should make, I would love to hear the criticism.

Asus Rampage Extreme 3
i7-950 ($200 price matched to Micro Center)
6G Corsair Dominator 1600
Noctua NH-D14
Corsair 800d ($239 price matched to Micro Center)
Corsair HX1000 (Shipped and on its way so don't talk crap)
PNY GTX 570 (Shipped and on its way so don't talk crap)
Hitachi 1t, Crappy Hard Drive for now, SSD next month

Fantastic, thanks for posting. You just install the right most fan a little higher. I was worried because I was watching the YouTube video from NewEgg and they said it wouldn't fit and they went with a smaller one. Now, I can go ahead and order....Thanks!

When I used onboard sound, I was able to get Dolby Digital 5.1. Not sure about Live! though.
