2)yes, just make sure its enough and not to much

also make sure the screws/barbs are snug and leak test... if on mb no power to mb just to be safe

Hey guys,

I just picked up this motherboard with,

i7 920 D0
Corsair H70
Corsair Dominator 6GB ( CMP6GX3M3A1600C8 )
Corsair 1000HX
Evga GTX 470
OCZ SSD

and my question is, do I need to plug in the Dual 8pin Power Connectors?

My goal is to hit 4.0ghz +

It won't help you out having both plugged in just for 4ghz. One is enough until you are above about 4.5Ghz or so.

You can buy a seperate extension for the 8 pin cpu power connector.

I used arctic clean on mine before i installed. I have the Koolance NB/SB watercooler. as far as the spreading use the pea method.
