Hmm... I got my memory stable at 2000MHz and it isn't even rated at that!

What are your voltages?

Also, 878 is supposed to have improved memory stability.

Hi everyone,

Build is finished and I'm starting to overclock my i7 930. I'm currently running Realtemp and I was looking at PC Probe II and there's a rather wide range of temperatures reported. Realtemp is reporting at about 64C and PC probe is at 51C.

So which one should I be paying attention to?

I thought that you might like to know that you actually can configure them differently. The six ICH10R sata ports can be IDE or AHCI and the 2 Marvell sata ports can be IDE or AHCI. The JMicro port has to be IDE. This is on pages 2.39 and 2-40 of the manual.

I have read on the net that there are problems with the Marvell 9123 controller on this board. I want to hook two mech HD's to this controller and run them in IDE mode.

Has anyone done this and if you have did you run into any problems or did you need to update the drivers? If you had to updated the drivers, which ones did you use?

Alright so when I took out my mobo to install the backplate of my H70, I realized I might have had the screws in too tight as some of the paint and some silver colored stuff near the screwholes have come off -_-

Motherboard seems to be working fine though thankfully. My question for you guys is do you use any motherboard washers? I assumed I didn't need them because the HAF X didn't come with any...

edit: typos
