feels like it too.
But why would Asus send me this from their RMA center? It also had bent pins, a layer of glue on the back side that I was unable to remove and a bunch of fingerprints all over. The heatsinks and the accessories seemed new though.
Out of the 50+ times I tried to boot-up this system in the past 2 days, it booted up like 4 times. Temps seemed fine but the ICH/IOH was like 60 degrees Celsius on idle (probably because of that yellow factory thermal paste they tend to use).
The Rampage III Extreme that I had originally sent in for my very first RMA was brand-new. I wish they could give me an equivalently brand-new replacement.
Isn't it weird that I'm getting the same error as with my brand-new board that I had originally sent in for RMA? Is it one of my other components? Everything (memory, cpu, graphics card, HDD, PSU, etc...) seems to work just fine except the mobo. By the way I'm not using any of the 2 EZ-Plugs. I tried it with either one or both EATX12V plugs, doesn't seem to make a difference.
