Rampage III Extreme X58 Information thread - Page 9

Rampage III Extreme has won 2 awards so far, http://twitter.com/ASUS_ROG. Anyone have a formspring.me account? Ask RoG when the board will be released in NA.

Edit: RIIIE page is up on Asus RoG: http://www.asusrog.com/RIIIE.html. At the bottom it says coming soon. Any day now. I bet they'll start shipping this weekend and retailers will start putting them on shelves by the 17th (speculation).

Edit #2: 50k Vantage run with RIIIE: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/....php?p=4326224

Anyone know if the OC panel is issued with the board or if its only for overclockers?
If its not shipped with the motherboard how do you go about getting one?

Unfortunately that is the way things work sometimes Still looking forward to any results if you get the possibility to test further!

Also, good news for Australians looking to purchase the rampage III extreme; I emailed PCCG and they let me know that Australian distributors have stated that they should have stock by next mid week (so a week from now!). However, they have to finalise pricing before they list it, which is why it is not available for pre-order. Also, there might be some slight/minor time involved with transferring the motherboards from suppliers to retail stores (this is speculation on my behalf, this may not be the case).

Still, it means boards should arrive in Australia on around the 14th, and hopefully be for sale not long after. So this means we can expect the board within ~2 weeks!

Looks like there isnt going to be an OCpanel afterall.

It says it will only be available for some overclockers, and that ASUS aint going to mind producing a lot of them.

Don't think so, the layout has changed. The R2E also had a phase board thingey which is no longer present.

Yeah that QPI Dram power card was unique to the R2E:
