Well, was stoked to see DX11 in action. Not so much with this title. I didn't notice any gains with DX11 turned on during my first 2 hours of playing, aside from the fact that my FPS was cut in half in some cases.
Be sure to compare everything in these pictures as there is a fog-like smoke that was moving in front of me, along with the glowing dust particles from the fella on the right. For some reason, lightbulbs also like to flicker different shades of yellow/red/orange to try and confuse me
I forgot to enable to FPS capture overlay on FRAPs, so it's only present on the DX9 screens. I did jot down what FPS I was getting in DX11, though.
This is with my 5850 OC'd to 900/1250 with 65% fan speed.
Max settings, 4xAA, 16xAF, Tessellation ON, Advanced Depth of Field ON, DX11 - FPS 20-25

Max settings, AAA (games default AAA setting), 16xAF, Tessellation ON, Advanced Depth of Field ON, DX11 - FPS 25-33

Max settings, AAA, 4xAF, Tessellation ON, Advanced Depth of Field OFF, DX11 - FPS 55

Max settings, AAA, 4xAF, Tessellation OFF, Advanced Depth of Filed OFF, DX11 - FPS 65

Time for DX9.
Max settings, AAA, 16xAF, Tessellation OFF (DX11 only), Advanced Depth of Field OFF (DX11 only), DX9 - FPS in picture

Max settings, AAA, 4xAF, Tessellation OFF (DX11 only), Advanced Depth of Field OFF (DX11 only), DX9 - FPS in picture

Short version: DX11 maxed with tessellation and advanced depth of field active:
20-25 FPS
DX9 maxed:
Never dips below 60 FPS
So there you have it. You can be the judge, but as for me... with this particular title, I won't be playing it DX11 enabled due to the huge performance hit I took and the little gain that was received (if any).
EDIT: Depth of field = Field of view. Same thing, too tired
