My rig will mainly be used for video production and I only plan on over clocking slightly. Enhanced Ridgeback, Blackline, and redline.. What are the differences and which will work best with my board?
The 998679 kit works well with that mobo for a CL7 part.

For CL6 the 998805 kit works well.

How much memory do you currently use when doing video production, is this a machine that you are going to use in a business?
If it's a work only machine you may be better off with a 3X4GB kit like the 998770

For anyone with AMD who's considering Mushkin, I got the 996744 kit yesterday, put it in, and it's running without problems at rated specs - 8-8-8-24 @ 1600MHz. Loving it so far.

Thanks Sean, it's going to be an all purpose kind of machine but with more focus on video editing.

The 998679 kit is the best bet then.

Thanks again Sean, the blackline series are at a great price too. I'm a bit curious but why the blackline over the Redline CL6?

Welcome! I dont usually suffer from the dreaded brand favoritism disease, but Mushkin RAM is my all time favorite.

haha! Yes, always looking to save money! but I ended up going with the cas 6 ridgebacks.. couldn't resist having a cas 6 and plus there's a rebate going for that model too. I read that the ridgebacks have the same memory chips as the redline model and ended up going with them because I prefer the heat sink over the redlines. Hope all goes well with 2 kits(12gb) on my UD3 board.
