I used the review at mushkin enhanced alpha team of a ridgebacks with same specs, I'm running atm 2000Mhz 7-10-7-24 with 1.65v
Do I need to cool the rams? Or it will be safe to run at this speed without damaging the modules.
(I'm using 1.21875 IMC and 1.9 PLL) I did 2 pass of memtest with no errors, so I assume the timings are stable?
You won't need additional cooling with that speed on stock volts.

Also use HyperPi (32 million max Processors) to help check for stablity.

Hey Sean,

I'm getting more and more frustrated with Newegg. They have dropped that last 3 memory kits I've added to my Wish List. The ones I really would like to buy, the Radioactive DDR3 3x2GB 1600 (998958), have also been deactivated. On Mushkin.com, It says email you guys for availability. Am I able to buy directly from you guys or do I have to buy from a seller?

Thanks

You can buy directly from Mushkin, but if the sticks are EOL (End of Line) then they probably won't ever have them back.

Are the redline 3x2gb 1600mhz 998805 going to be available again? I have one set now and would like to max out to the 12gb if I could.

Thanks.

Hi Sean,

I am considering buying the ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AM3 890FX mobo, and was wondering if your Enhanced Ridgeback (model # 996826) 2x 2GB memory will be compatible.

Thanks for your help.

Thread Starter
KW10001 and jjshabadoo,

The chips for those kits are currently in short supply, if/when we get more of them the triple kits will be offered again.

BackerU,

Yes the 996826 Ridgebacks will work in the Crosshair IV

I have the 998805 6gb (3x2gb) redline kit. I bought it about a week ago. Now that I have all of the parts in my build (sig rig) it will not post. The ram led is lit up in red and is sometimes flashing. My motherboard is a Sabertooth x58 and the description on newegg said something like "Any memory is A-OK!". Do you know if this memory is supported in my motherboard? I have tried pressing the mem-ok button and it only seems to turn off and on the entire computer and it still does not post. Any chance you could help me out?
