FPS? Are you refering to frames per second? I'm not quite understanding you.

In referance to overclocking it, download coolbits. First, update your drivers to forceware drivers here, next, you can find coolbits here

When you have that downloaded, open it up (it's a registry hack, so you open it by right click on your desktop and go to your display) and you should see on the side panel something that says "Clock Frequency Settings". Here, you can use detect optimal frequiences to start off, then slowing increase the core clock speed and mem clock speed seperately, not both at once. Only increase them by increments of about 3-5. Hope this helped you, and welcome to the forum.

ok, frames per second is how many frames or "pictures" your video card can make.

30 frames per second is good, 25 seems smooth in that game...

try lowering the quality a little bit and that might help, turning off over bright and visual treatment helps alot.

the reason why your video card seems like there is a delay is because the video card is not fast enough to make it look smooth to make it not look like there is no delay.

Ohh you mean fps, well fps is how may frames are displayed per second. So when you go under 18 it becaomes notacibly choppy because you eye can see each frame. But at lower settings your computer has an easer time makeing the picture and yeilds more fps. I would suggest toning down the settings.

Dude, I run NFS in 1024*768 with max quality settings on my 5700le. The thing is it runs at 470/480 Gpu/Mem. Don't worry so much about the fps thing, not everyone has the same number of fps. If it doesn't run ok try to lower the resolution (maybe 800x600 would help) and put lower detail settings.

Besides, the fps depend also on the cpu, ram, mb, and all the rest, so if you're a beginer, don't bother.

Yes, 5700le is very old and I will change it. Even thow it still works (just barely) there are better alternatives.
