Introduction



I am 17 and one of my hobbies is making modded Pc cases. This is mod is my biggest on to date and I'm really looking forward to fineshing it and starting my next(I wish). This Project is inspired by Cygnus X1 and the Sidewinder mouse.
This mod is going to be water-cooled.

I made a wooden frame so that I could see if every thing would fit and I am really glad I did so because I noticed that my side doorsany are about 4 cm too small.


the cnc router broke so we had to fix it but hers a pic of how it cuts when its broken:

Originally I was thinking of making the side doors out of alu then powder it white and have the "fins" bushed horizontal and put some red led under them that the red lights under the "fins" these are the red bits in he render if you were wondering.
But with this update every thing changed. I'm using "alu plexi sandwich"(dibond) because its easer to bent compared to alu but much more expensive. We didn't hae any use dibond any more see the first "fin's" they are full of scratches so I had to use a new sheet of dibond and I'm really glad I did.

The final "fin" is gonna be powdered black and the doors are brushed.

Some Sleeving :




To day we tried a bit of alu welding (TIG) its very hard. I tried it but am very bad at it. It gets harder the shorter the distance is you want to weld. So after some trying my boss decided to do it for me because you need very much experience.





Stress test we welded "T" and broke it. The alu bent befor we where able to break it of.

Well I've been at a Lan with =EBS= and it was a real success and work has been real busy so finally hers a update :

the plate the pumps will stand on brushed sorry the pic doesn't show you how awesome it look


the idea: The pumps are gonna stand on the small alu piece and I'm going to make a sandwich wit silicon in the middle to dampen the vibrations.

This thing is over 56 years old but works like a charm

I thought I didn't need the to make a line where I have to bend it but then noticed that it was necessary.


Made this so that I can see if all of them are the same it was really helpful
