FAn for mosfet or RAM

A few hours ago i made a thread about mosfet if its warm does it causes unstable vcore voltage, well theres only 1 way to find out so i decided to rig a fan cooler all that u need is 2 40mm fan and wire them both together. Attached sample pics. i will do a better written DIY

Not yet just got done testing it and i have to pull out my mobo to figure out how to hinge this thing, see my fingers holding that yellow live wire? hahah im CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! Still trying to decide if im going to use a molex connector or a 3 pin connector so i can hook it up on the mobo itself.

Here it is finished product, went ahead and used a 3 pin connector so i can connect it on my mobo. hope this doestn drain alot of power

After few hours of figuring out im done... i just needed to unscrew 2 screws in the back and remove the adhessive and replace it with as5 mod a retaining bracket to hold it in place.. my verdict? worth it for a modder it beats killing time when ur bored. hehehe

nice, you got too much time on your hands... jk, I have been on this site for 14hrs strait...zzzz...

Humm, i got a suggestion, if you make a box out of plexiglass and mount the fans on the top, you can have a mini box chiller.. It might be hard to do, but it's fairly common with memory (expecially BH5).. I guess that would be more like a ducting mod than anything...

Also, don't worry about power consumption from those fans, that should be the least of your consern.

Yup i actually thought of that so the fan is raised to avoid a void of air since the back panel of a fan has that rounded thing. however i scrapped that idea, the problem with it was if i make a box i'll end up hitting some of the capacitors and making the air circulate, so i scrapped that idea and went with the easy way.. hehehe i mean literally EASY. this is so easy all i used was some extra parts i had laying around and 2 ( extra 2 for trial and error) paper clips for the bracket, aluminum tie wraps from a garbage bag to bind the 2fans. hehe ( im Mc Gyver what can i say?) i was actually done in 30 mins the problem i had was rebooting the cpu. but not any related issue with installing a mosfet fan.
