if you are getting an opteron, dont worry about the stepping...they all perform very similarly......people will say stay away from the CABGE stepping, but those are so rare, I dont remember the last time i even saw one...not sure if I even have.

Don't waste your time with a Plextor dude, their retarded expensive and they do the same damn thing anything else does. Go with Lite-on, very good stuff and a DVD/CD burner is like 40 bucks!

And also, stay away from the FX-60. I persoanally think it's a waste. All it is is a 4400X2 with an unlocked multi.
