One thing that you must first do is take the DIMM from the DIMM slot #3, and put it in #2. Ya see, if you have one in #1, and one in #3, you are actually only using half your RAM, because the NF3 will only run RAM in slots 1, 1&2, and !, 2 &3, not just 1 & 3.
I would also suggest reading this FAQ: http://www.overclock.net/faqs/12468-...uide-part.html
Good luck OCing, the DFI NF3 250-GB is a great OCing motherboard.

That is because the RAM is in the wrong slots, put your RAM in slot 1 and 2, not 1 and 3. In 1 and 3, you will only have 512 MB of RAM in the 1-3 setup, ou will have 1024 in the 1-2 setup.

That seems a bit too high for your type of CPU. Try running it at 1.60-1.62. You may have also just found your CPU's stable max, all CPU's are different, I woulden't expect more than 2.6 out of that CPU, even with really good air/water cooling. What are your current idle and load temps.

the only thing that i can think is the 754 doesn't quite do things the same try taking down the FSB at 5 mhz intervals to get a stable overclock

I always do 2MHz intervals, works much better for finding the MAX stable OC. Your BSOD could also be PSU related, it may not be able to handle your CPU speed at load. What are your rails sitting at (use speed fan for that one)?
