WOW....!!!

After a long time checking, I realized that the stable System when I OC :

FSB: 215 MHz
LDT/FSB :x4
CPU/FSB :x11
DDR/FSB : 1:1

So...
CPU : Athlon 64 3200+ NewCastle 2.2 GHz --OC--> 2.367 GHz
RAM: 2x512 MB Corsair XMS PC3200 400MHz --OC--> 215 MHz (3-3-3-8-12-16) -CPU-Z
HTT : 215x4x2 = 1720 MHz ( ist it dangerous )

**Passed** OCCT Stability test with temp from 43-53 Celcious Degree !!!

"754: Paris; Palermo; Clawhammer; Newcastle; Lancaster; Newark; Venice(E6)
939: Winchester; Clawhammer; Venus; Denmark; Venice(E3); San Diego; Manchester; Toledo

the differences are many. you've got Semprons, mobile and non-mobile Athlon 64s, FXs, X2s and Opterons. some are 90nm, some are 130nm. they're all different steppings. they have different cache sizes, differently tweaked memory controllers, slightly different arhcitecture and use different instruction sets."

Socket 754:
Socket 754 was the first Athlon 64 platform introduced and continues to live on to this day. Socket 754 motherboards are the cheapest to produce becayse they use 4-layer PCB boards as opposed to the 6-layer PCB of Socket 939. Socket 754 also offers budget priced CPUs (Model 2800+) as well as extreme higher performance units (model 3700+).
Features:

* 200x4 = 800Mhz (1600MHz effective) HyperTransport bus speed
* On-die 64-bit 8-bit ECC single channel DDR400 memory controller
* PCI Express Bus*
* nVidia's SLi feature**

* - PCI Express is only offered on certain chipsets, check motherboard information to make sure.
** - Requires a motherboard with 2 PCI Express x16 form factor graphics slots and video cards that support SLi.

FSB: 215 MHz
LDT/FSB :x4
CPU/FSB :x11
DDR/FSB : 1:1

you should have been able to get 215 with nothing other then the FSB bump... or atleast very close... try your HT down to 3 and your ram at 166... give 240 a shot

depends... does it get hot? no? go for it...

i'm using the stock amd heatsink, and at 2.5ghz/ my temps are still under what most people idle at but that's still at 1.45v

more voltage doesn't always = more performance...

thanks for your assistance but...I 've already OC my comp to

FSB: 250 MHz
LDT/FSB :x3
CPU/FSB :x10
DDR/FSB : 166/200

------> all I had is BSOD !!! oh man I think FSB:240 is too much

By the way, after reading all your posting I realized that

the more HTT speed (although 1700 -1800) = the more dangerous ?? right ?

Because alot of people assist me to down the LDT/FSB to x3 and increase the FSB . am I right ???

Please let me know , THX
