Debatable. I play COD2 and my load times are great. I'm in before almost everyone else all the time, and I don't get any hangups when opening or closing the game. No doubt an extra gig would make it even better, but I'm doing just fine with 512.

It's only games that weren't optimized before they were released, or are very texture heavy that require morer RAM (ie. BF2, FEAR).

I don't want to play BF2 or FEAR. So is the 512 Ballistix the best option?
