First off never get 3 sticks of RAM because it will make ur system unstable with most mobo's and also if u have 2 or 4 sticks of RAM u can have them in Dual Channel which is way fast... HDD is fine if u r putting them in RAID 0 and are u using the PSU that comes with the case? Apart from that it looks like a nice setup.

oh goodie oppinions

If you put 4 sticks of ram you will lose lots of fps in games as you'll have to use 2T command rate for your rams. My oppinion:

CPU
AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800 if it's not a huge difference from the 4000

MAINBOARD
ASUS A8N-E (asus all the way)

RAM
2x DDR-400 512 MB or 2x DDR-400 1024 MB

VIDEO CARD
Gigabyte NVIDIA Geforce 6800XT 128MB (same price but 256bit memory)

HDD
(2x) Western Digital 120GB SATA HDD
Or (2x) Western Digital 80GB SATA HDD

DISC DRIVE
Pioneer DVD+-RW DL 16x (I personaly go for LG all the way)

SOUND CARD
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Value (I remember there was a 24bit thing)

CASE
Cooler Master Centurion 540 RC-540-SKr1 (good choice)

somebody else?

Correct me if i'm wrong there is like 100$ difference between 3700+ and 4000+ so i'd get a 3700+ and a 6800GS.
