Diablo 2 1.13 - Higher Resolution?

According to the patch notes they allowed for higher 4:3 resolutions. My game still maxes at 800x600.

Is there something I need to do?

Its only for windowed mode. If you hit maximize it will scale it to fit the height of your desktop.

Thats a bummer. I figured they made it so you could have higher resolutions.

Theres hacks out there that allow it, but they can't be used on B.net.

It would make it very unfair for those who don't use it? Have you played in your normal resolution using that "hack" or patch whatever you wanna call it? It would totally kill the game for those who don't have it. Your site is expanded tremendously.

Only thing im disappointed in this patch it the fact they still haven't locked the mouse into the window

If you want mouse to be captured in the window use Glide-Wrapper

On 'Settings' Tab tick "captured mouse"

It's a tool that helps Diablo 2 run much more smoothly on Graphic Cards that don't naturally support d3Gfx-Glide (D2 was actually made to run with Glide not DDraw or Direct3D those options are what we get now on our graphic cards)
