Pronunciation: \\in-ˈde-vər\\
transitive verb
: to strive to achieve or reach
: to attempt (as the fulfillment of an obligation) by exertion of effort
intransitive verb
: to work with set purpose

Also one of three currently operational NASA Space Shuttles. Also spelled Endeavour (British variation).

TOC
This cute, harmless little bugger will soon be replaced by something amazing and (seemingly) out of it's reach.

Stripped, almost, just need to take off a couple stickers and things like case feet, etc.

PSU partially sleeved.

Current state:

I got the Shuttle case back from powdercoating and took a bunch of pictures but then they got lost... I completely spaced that they were on my phone and then wiped my phone to sell it. So I guess I'll be stripping it back down to take pics and then posting build shots from there.

Specs are as follows :
Shuttle k45 stock motherboard (soon to be Zotac GF9300)
Pentium Dual-Core E5200 (stock 2.5ghz, stable at 3.25ghz for 3 hours of Prime95)
2gb Crucial DDR2 PC2-5300
200gb WD2000 Caviar SE (soon to be replaced by either laptop drive or SSD)
Front 120mmx12mm Scythe Kaze-Jyuni Slim SY1212SL12L
Rear 92mmx25mm Nexus Real Silent DF1209SL-3
Stock 100w PSU with Scythe Mini Kaze Ultra 40mmx20mm SY124020L (soon to be replaced by larger Shuttle PSU or FSP270-60LE)

The Master Plan :
New PSU - FSP270-60LE
New HDD - 7200rpm laptop drive or SSD
New motherboard - Zotac GF9300 775
Watercooling - completely internal
- DTek Fuzion V2 CPU waterblock
- MCP350 or equivalent DDC pump
- DDC pump top resevoir
- Black Ice GTX or Magicool 92mm Radiator

More updates coming tonight. PSU mostly sleeved, just have the 24 pin left and even with that I have all sleeving and shrink cut to size so it's just a matter of doing it. Aside from that, I can post all the photos I have currently without the PSU. Coming soon!

Sorry to keep you guys waiting! I finally got off my ass, finished the sleeving, and snapped some more pics. So here we go!

Back, freshly powdercoated. Yes I see the drip spots in the middle. Yes my powdercoating guy is a n00b. This is only the second thing he's powdercoated but he has access to the equipment at work and only charges $20. I'm lazy and figured I'd spend more than $20 on paint plus the time it takes to sand and all that so I just had him sandblast and powdercoat it.

Front of the case, showing the size of the 120mm hole. Yes that's only a 120mm. I know. It's practically the whole front of the case!

PSU cover and bracket, freshly powdered.

Scythe Slim 120mm fan installed.

Motherboard is in.

Rear fan installed. Nexus Silent 92mm.

Some sleeving shots. And that is not the stock PSU fan. It's a Scythe MiniKaze 40mm x 20mm. And it's quiet.

Before:

After:

PSU installed.

Top down, this is what you see.

There are still a couple cables to be sleeved.

Another profile shot.

Overall, I'm very happy with how this is turning out. With the case on, it looks almost finished and it's very quiet. I do need to either sleeve the fan to molex converter, or splice it onto the actual fan cable so that's seamless. I also need to sleeve the front panel connectors and stock cpu heatsink fan wires. But I'm hesitant to do this because I'm not going to be using the stock front panel switch and leds. I'm also not going to be keeping the stock cpu heatsink very long. In my next update, hopefully soon, I'll have at least a plan for what I'm going to do with the front panel. I may retain part of the stock panel or I might create a whole new front panel from scratch. We'll see.

Enjoy!

MCP350 with XSPC reservoir top coming in the mail (thanks to Carlitos714 for the great deal!) and I'll probably be ordering the radiator and CPU block later this week.

I think plan of attack (order of new components to be put in build) is going to be Watercooling -> New PSU -> New motherboard. That way I can have the WC loop tested and in place, and I don't want to OC any more than I already am with the PSU being only 100w. And the new motherboard (Zotac GF9300-i-e) will be explicitly bought with intent to overclock.

More updates as I got em!

Thanks Jolly! You've been an inspiration to me since I joined OCN. I'd like to consider myself modding-impaired, mostly because I have a hard time actually finishing the mods I start.

Small update. The pump and reservoir are on their way to me. As soon as my Xbox 360 sells (I never play it, computer games are better imho) I'll be ordering the block (Enzotech Sapphire unless there's a better block on the forum for sale), radiator (Black Ice GTX M92), fittings and tubing. Hopefully that will happen by the end of the week. I'll keep y'all posted with pics and more updates as I have them.

By the way, Endeavor, as is right now, is quiet (can't hear from 2 feet away) with fans running at full speed and is folding 24/7 with an air overclock to 2.93ghz stable. It's quiet enough that my girlfriend doesn't even know it's on, and it's sitting right next to the TV in case I ever need to check on it. Happiness is in the little things, like having an extra computer that the girlfriend knows nothing about!

Can't wait to get this thing under water!
