hmm... are you going to use a 90degree fitting to solve that big turn in the loop? or is it more or less open air as it is?

Yep, there will be a couple 90s in there actually. One each on the inlet and outlet of the pump/res and possibly one on the rad inlet. I'm holding off on the 90s though until I get all of my fittings. I wanna do matte black BP comps throughout and I have to wait to get a different block and a NB block to do so. That waiting coupled with the thought of spending ~$80 just on fittings makes me wanna throw up.

CPU block that is coming soon hopefully!!! (When I can afford it...) Same dude that makes this block also makes a NB block that will fit the GF9300.

personally, i would have the dude make one big block for it all instead. less connections is better in my eyes. fewer potential leaks.

I wonder how that would work... CPU and NB block all in one. I can see it on the Atom/ION boards. But on a socketed board?

And... mod(s)... can you take this poll off of my thread? I put it up there awhile ago and got the response I needed. Now I can't remove it and it's no longer relevant to my thread. Thanks!

well think of it kinda like the NB/SB blocks. its you have two fittings like any block. it kind of goes around in a quick circle to get the water out.

as for fitting, sure it'd need to be machine to a precise size but considering that the NB has its own two screw holes and the CPU has 4, i definitely think its doable.

So, I got an e6600 and some Mushkin Blackline ram. This is a mix of good and bad.

I've found out that the e5200 I had just had a bad temp sensor. It wouldn't go below 48c but it would register higher temps. Aside from that it's a great processor and did 3.75 without breaking a sweat. I've done stress testing on the e6600 and it idles around 22c and doesn't get hotter than 45c. This is the good.

The ram, which is supposed to be 1066mhz DDR2, doesn't run at 1066 on this board for whatever reason. The new proc's native fsb is 1066 so why doesn't the ram want to run at 1:1 with it?? Advertised board specs say it supports DDR2 667/800 but in the bios I have clock options up to 1400mhz!! I have to say though, the ram just looks the part. If only it would perform as advertised.... :grumble grumble:

But yeah, temps are amazing for 3.4ghz and only a GTX 120. Fans are a Gentle Typhoon AP-15 (1850rpm) push and Scythe Kaze Slim pull.

I don't want to / can't go higher yet. Every time I try, it won't boot. I had it at 3.6ghz and was Windows stable but crashed on IBT then wouldn't boot afterwards. I have a feeling it's memory related. Thoughts?

P.S. Naf's polished brass pro mount for the Fuzion should be coming in tomorrow. You'll get pics, don't worry.
