Replacement Gaming Rig

Looks like this will be the final config.. Coming in around $550

Processor: i3-540
MB: Gigabytr GA-H55M
RAM: DDR3 GSKILL Ripjaw Series 4gb (2x2)
Case: Antec 900 Mid tower
PSU: Corsair 650 W
HDD: Seagate 7200 RPM 500GB from old computer
Optical: DVD burner from HP computer
GPU: 8600 gt

Thoughts mostly on the processor and motherboard?
Looking to keep under $600 and cheaper if possible...

Yikes on the video card... get a 5670 or something, they aren't overly expensive and perform well

change that 8600 for a ati 5770, if gaming is youre #1 priority.

Do not buy the i5 6xx processors when you can get an i5 750 for nearly the same price. The 6xx chips are dual-cores with HT, and the 7xx chips are quads without HT.

GPU will be upgraded at the end of May, the current one is coming from my old computer.... and will look into the 7xx series i5, and i really like the mobo firestorm, thanks all so far, will edit the rig in the op with new parts... and price...
